Crisis in Pakistan

On November 3, General Musharraf imposed an emergency decree, suspending the Constitution and dissolving the Pakistan Supreme Court. His justification was the rising militant threat, security deterioration and an 'extrajudicial' court. Critics charge that he is merely attempting to hold onto power.
